RVing around the USA
In 2024 I became a dad. So for the first time it’s the 3 of us traveling. Somebody told me once: “when you have kids, don’t stop doing what you love”, and that is exactly our plan.
We’ve been saving North America for now. We bought a travel trailer and plan to spend the next few years rving around the USA & Canada. The first season started in August 2024 in Florida and we’re currently on the road.
Journeys
In my opinion, there’s no better way to travel than having your own means of transport and plenty of time to allow for spontaneity. If you want to have a real, raw and authentic travel experience, there’s nothing like just showing up. It beats any organized tour, no matter how exclusive or well-organized it is.
These journeys are normally multi-year trips with a rough itinerary in my mind but we ended up doing something completely different than what we planned. And that’s the whole point.
Across West Africa on Motorbikes

This was the hardest trip in my life. We bought two motorbikes in Spain and decided to ride them all the way to Cape Town, via West Africa.
Sailing the Caribbean & Mexico

My absolute favorite way of traveling. We spent 2 seasons in the Caribbean prepping to cross the South Pacific. Then, Covid changed our plans.
Cycling the Length of Latinoamerica

Our first big independent trip. A 3-year bike trip from California all the way to Argentina that ultimately changed our lives and kickstarted a life of travel.
